Thank you, Nicole & Stephen! Cersei won the Reserve Walking Fleece Championship at the March 2018 Heart of Virginia Show! Since then, she’s grown up and has very nice fleece and perfect conformation. She has the “look” with a gorgeous head — yeah, I know that’s not supposed to count, but we all love the look — and she’s such a sweet girl. She also passed her lovely personality on to her daughter, Claire, who was one of the farm tour favorites, and she’s continuing that tradition at her current owner’s farm. Cersei’s sire, Prime Ruler, is out of the one and only Snowmass Matrix, perhaps one of the most celebrated males in the history of North America. Her sire also took the Reserve Championship as a mature male at the 2014 AOA National Show! Now, that’s a great accomplishment! Cersei has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Ganymede for her Fall 2023 cria. Ganymede was the 2017 National Supreme Champion, beating out dozens of other Champions and Invited Champions. He’s a 4-time Judges Choice male with 15 banners and he’s been producing Champion offspring, including the 2022 #5 female in the Nation as ranked by AOA! See his webpage. Cersei's dam, Sunset Hills Cocoa Latte is from Peruvian Royal Fawn and Zephyrus lines, the same lines that run in Ganymede's sire's side. We believe this will enhance the prepotent fleece characteristics that will be coming from both sides in this pairing. We expect this cria to be a good one!
